Hestia
The family wall calendar for any screen.

What it is
The month at a glance, today's plans, the weather and your favorite photos, on the screen everyone walks past. An old monitor, a TV, a Chromecast or a tablet will do. Setting one up takes about five minutes, and then you leave it alone.
What it does
- Works with Google Calendar, iCloud shared albums and any iCal feed
- Finds the people in every photo and crops around them, so nobody loses the top of their head
- Tiles you can drag and resize: photo, clock, weather, month, chores, meal plan, countdown and more
- Light by day, dark from sunset to sunrise, with colors that change through the year
- Pair a smart TV with a code, cast from Chrome, or open it in any browser
How it's made
Hestia began as a calendar built for one family's wall, light enough to run on a Raspberry Pi 3 in kiosk mode. Now it's a web app any household can set up: sign in with Google or an emailed link, pick your wall's address, and open it on the screen. There's no password to remember and nothing to install.
